Managing Your Forest for Wildfire and Wildlife

Learn how thinning, grazing, and prescribed fire can reduce wildfire risk on your property, while also maintaining quality wildlife habitat. Wednesday evening class instructors are Rob Lionberger, DNR Eastern Washington Stewardship & Technical Assistance Forester, and Ken Bevis, DNR Stewardship Wildlife Biologist. Saturday field trip will focus on prescribed fire and other forest and wildlife management practices in the Sinlahekin Wildlife Area between Conconully and Loomis.
