Experience the silence and solitude of snowshoeing while learning the skills and techniques to enjoy winter travel safely and comfortably. Gain a greater understanding of cold weather gear, appropriate food for energy and travel, and winter weather so that you can be worry free on the trail. Learn about winter hazards and safety in the backcountry. We’ll meet once in the classroom and then we’ll hit the trail to learn first-hand! Snap on those snowshoes and enjoy!
